Segundo essa nota da BoingBoing, uma empresa irlandesa chamada Steorn afirma ter desenvolvido tecnologia para construir uma máquina que consome menos energia do que é capaz de produzir - conhedida também como Movimento Perpétuo.
Além de rasgar as leis da Termodinâmica, uma tecnologia dessas pode mudar completamente o mundo, e sua forma de produzir e consumir energia, conforme o conhecemos. Tudo isso se não for "fake", é claro. O vídeo abaixo foi produzido pela empresa, como "anúncio" da tecnologia:
